The Cryo-Station has an insulated jacket and can be filled manually or automatically with liquid nitrogen. The well of the Cryo-Station reaches liquid nitrogen temperatures quickly. Up to two Cryo-Blocks can be placed in the well to be chilled and kept cold prior to grinding. The well can also hold a chilled cutting board to prepare temperature-sensitive samples.
